Coach Pat is Triathlon Taren's coach. Pat holds a Bachelor of Physical Education, is an NCCP Triathlon Course Conductor, and his Intro to Competition certificate.
Pat has competed in triathlons since 1995 and is an accomplished triathlete being named Triathlete Magazine's 2007 Canadian Age Group Olympic Distance Triathlete of the Year. Pat holds 1:55 Olympic distance and 4:12 half-ironman personal bests, most notably he's one of the world's finest post-run pancake makers.
Pat has coached beginner triathletes to their first races, he's trained some of Manitoba's top provincial and national age-group athletes at all distances, and he's coached athletes to Ironman Kona and obtaining their professional triathlete card.
